Anchored Formation is not built on hype, image, or surface-level motivation. It is built on biblical convictions that call men to examine their lives honestly, surrender fully to Christ, and grow with intentionality.
truth
Biblical formation begins with truth. Not opinion. Not appearance. Not what feels easiest. God’s Word exposes what is false and anchors a man in what is real.
honesty
A man cannot surrender what he refuses to admit. Honest formation requires facing what has been hidden, avoided, justified, or protected.
Brotherhood
Men were not designed to walk alone. Brotherhood provides encouragement, accountability, correction, prayer, and strength for the journey.
Surrender
Real growth requires more than effort. It requires surrendering control, laying down pride, and trusting God with the places a man would rather manage himself.
Intentional Growth
Formation does not happen by accident. A man must choose what shapes him, what he listens to, who he walks with, and where he places his trust.
my story
My name is Scott Johnson.
I was born and raised in a Christian home and experienced God at a young age. But beneath the surface, there were things happening in me that I did not understand at the time.
I struggled deeply with insecurity, low self-esteem, anger, instability, and a constant need for approval. Much of my life was shaped by fear, people-pleasing, hidden resentment, and internal chaos long before I had the maturity to recognize it.
By the time I turned 18, I was determined to build my life on my own terms.
What followed were years of rebellion, isolation, self-destruction, and searching for meaning outside of God. But God was not absent from my story.
